Thanks to the success of the 2023 Billfish Pachanga, we were able to donate $25,000 to the Harte Research Institute for Sportfish Science, $20,000 to the Port Aransas Scholarship fund. It is our mission to further Sportfish Science and provide opportunities for deserving students.

Thanks to our Partnership with the Harte Institute for Sportfish Science, 3 Satellite tags were auctioned off to be deployed in billfish during the 2025 Billfish Pachanga. The Billfish that traveled the greatest distance would earn the sponsoring boat free entry into the 2026 Billfish Pachanga. Congratulations to Team "Sigsbee Deep" for winning the Billfish Pachanga Marlin Race and free entry into the 2026 Pachanga! The winning sailfish traveled from Port Aransas to the eastern Gulf, before heading south towards Mexico and Cuba! The money raised by the sponsoring boats was donated back to our beneficiaries, the Harte Research Institute and the Port Aransas Scholarship Fund.
